Just an fyi...

Moon Signs will be continuing in the Portland and Providence Phoenixes (Phoenices?) and will be online at the main site but as of April I am revamping the monthly forecast, so info will be available here and probably moonsigns.net. Also, just talked to Cathy at B&N in Leominstah, MA where I'll be signing/reading on May 1 from 1 to 3 pm! Mark your calendars, save your shekels. I'm going to handmake some VERY SPECIAL bookmarks for purchasers so stay tuned (once I figure out how to make my phonecamera take more than 3 pix...)

waiting for the rumble...

...of orders, sales, readers. Have gotten some response trickling in but my work isn't the sort of thing that Publisher's Weekly or the NYT would be reviewing. Bad, bad mainstream press! When I was doing regular journalism I covered ANYTHING that caught my fancy. Sometime in the early 90s I found I was reading tons and tons of astrology books and folklore books and that sort of thing. For another person, they might fall down the rabbit hole and wind up with a masters' -- I ended up with a column, lovable clients, and some interesting freelance opportunities.

in the works...

An appearance in Worcester with Upton Bell of WCRN, stagemanaged by my old friend Hank Stolz with whom I speak on Mondays (WCRN 830 AM). At Jillians, date TBA.... Also a pending appointment at Leominster Barnes and Noble (April?) and a possible date at Brookline Booksmith in June (hey, at least it won't be snowing). I'm looking forward to nailing these down for the column at right. . . .I have worked on marketing/PR/publicity for a variety of individuals and arts non-profits and getting into the groove for The Astrological Elements by myself-as-client has taken a few ticks. Fortunately, I can say with complete shamelessness it's a fun book to read and REALLY useful. I've divided the chapters into the 4 elements (fire, earth, air and water), and each element gets its 3 signs. And then I do mix/match so you can see how Virgo fares with Scorpio (ok) or Leo with Capricorn (magnetic, if Cappy can survive...). So something for everyone....
